TRANSPORTS ARRIVE.
MATATUA AND ULIMAROA,
TOTAL OF 1,774 MEN OX BOARD,
Auckland, Aug. 8,
The'transports Matalua and Uliniaroa. arrived at Auckland, the former lids morning, and (lie latter last night. On the Matatua were (iB2 soldiers from France, while the Ulimaroa brought 1.092 troops from Egypt. The Alatatua 'anchored in the stream until this morning, when she berthed at 9 o’clock.
The Ulimaroa sailed from Auckland at 5.45 p.rn. yesterday, and should arrive at Wellington on Bun clay.
