The extraordinary number of land sales throughout the district was jcflcctcd in the exceptionally large number of transfers of pro - perty which were reported to Tuesday’s meeting of the Manawatu County % Council, The chairman (Sir James Wilson) expressed surprise at the lengthy list, which was as follows: —J.
