SHIPPING.

Owing to some difficulty in connection with the crew, the s.s. Blenheim was unable to sail from Wellington'last night for Boston. She will sail to-night, and is due here to-morrow morning. The s.s. Kennedy goes on the slip at ■ Wellington this afternoon to complete her overhaul. This will he completed some time next week, and she will then take up her running in the Foxton-Wellington trade. A meeting of shareholders in the newly-formed Wellington-Manawatu Shipping Co., Ltd., was held in Foxton yesterday for the purpose of electing director’s. It was decided to have a directorate of five, for which seven nominations were received. The ballot resulted in the election of the following: Messrs 'A. E. Pearce (Messrs Levin & Co., Ltd., Wellington), Captain Harvey, W. Signal, P. Hennessy and A. Fraser.
