OBITUARY.
S. T. 8 A VILER—AGED o(i,
We regret to record (he death, which took place at his residence, Frances Street, on Friday night, of Mr Samuel Thomas Saville, aged i)(i years, after a lingering illness. The deceased was a son of the late Mr Samuel Saville, of Foxton, and had resided in this dislrict for over 30 years. He served for some time in Samoa with the New Zealand Forces, and had been in indifferent health ever since his return from there.
The late Mr Saville leaves a widow and four sons, one of whom is returning to New Zealand from active service on (he troopship Briton, due to arrive to-morrow.
The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, the Rev. W. Raine officiating at the graveside.
