THE WATER, . The Minister for Defence, ‘Sir James Allen, has received official advice that two more transports with returning New Zealand troops have left the United Kingdom. The details are as follow: — (Returning Draft No. 273) :—Left United Kingdom July 2nd;-due at Lyttelton about August 12th. Draft comprises 967 troops. Mamari (Returning Draft No. 274) : —Left United Kingdom July 3rd; due at Auckland about August 13th. Draft comprises 1,055 troops. These drafts make the . total number of New Zealand troops now on the water en route for the Dominion 9,858, Eleven fronsports in all are conveying the men, and they have on board also 605' women and 154 children. . -
