DAIRYMAN FINED £4O.
An elderly man, Patrick Cavanagh, dairyman, of Kaiwarra, was fined £4:O by Mr F. V. Frazer, S.M., at Wellington yesterday, for selling milk other than that produced from a registered dairy. The Magistrate described the state of affairs as most revolting, and added that (hero was direct evidence that a number of cases of enteric had been infected from the dairy. Such a place, he said, must be an obsolute plague spot.
