PRISONER RECAPTURED.
Wanganui, June 22. The man M’Caun, who escaped from custody when being conveyed to T'eilding to answer a charge of theft, was captured while having tea at Fordell Hotel on Saturday. The man’s traces had been found about the district in the early part of the week, but he had doubled on his tracks several times. He was brought into town, and is lo appear in Court to-morrow.
