SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

RETURNED SOLDIERS INJURED. Timuru, June 19. A serious accident occurred in Main Street, opposite the Public Gardens, at the soujh end of the town to-night, in a badly-lighted hollow. W. Condon, stock agent for Messrs Dalgety and Co., was coming into town in a car when he ran into two young returned soldiers, brothers named Bowers, who were walking on the road. One had a thigh fractured, and the other had a leg broken above the ankle, and both men sustained wounds about the body. They -were taken to the hospital. The injuries are serious, but not dangerous.
