SLY GROG-SELLING.

PROTEST FROM TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH. Taumarunui, June 18, At the regular meeting of the Borough Council last night, a letter ivas received from the Chamber of Commerce regarding sly grog-sell-ing. The council passed the following resolution: “That this council expresses great displeasure with the amount of sly grog-selling in Taumarunui, and that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Minister in charge of the police.”
