MOST TRAGIC LETTER IN HISTORY.
The National Art Collections Fund has placed on loan with the Koval Scottish Museum, Edinburgh, pending a decision as to final destination, the original of the last letter of Mary Queen of Scots addressed to her brother-in-law, Henry HI, King of France, on the night before her execution. The letter was acquired from the Morrison collection for presentation to the Scottish nation, weighing 1651h5.
