A dance will bo held in the Town Hall on Tuesday next, under the auspices of St. Mary’s Church Fund. The juice of admission will be as usual.
The merits of cattle syringes are set out,in Collinson and Son’s advertisement on page 2 of this issue, a post-free price being quoted, though it is pointed out that showtime will be a good time to buy one while in Palmerston North.
The Annual Stocktaking Sale at Barr and Tver’s commences tomorrow morning, at 9 o’clock, and as per usual, fashion goods will be sold at 33 1-3 to 50 per cent, ofl! usual prices, which means it very considerable saving these days of high prices. - The great advantage of this sale is that winter goods can now be bon at a time when they are really useful to the buyer.
