During the month 1,2-18 bales of tow wore dealt with, as compared with 2,205 for the corresponding month of last year, a decrease of 1,047 bales. For the t welve months ended May 01.,.^' - '? the number of bales graded was 18,402, as compared with 30,500 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 18,014 bales.
