LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report that their cable message dated London, 24th May, received tffh June, reads as follows: The wool sales closed with a very firm tone. As compared with closing rates for the April sales, best Merinos are ten per cent, higher; line crossbreds also ten per cent, higher; short and faulty crossbreds are seven and one-half per cent, lower; medium crossbreds seven and one-half per cent, higher; coarse crossbreds five per cent, higher.
