Military (Maori War) Pensions: Number in force, 1,040; annual value, £47,814 ; paid in March, 4,245, "War pensions; Number in Force, 27,427; annual value, £1,700,000; paid in March, £132,735.
Miners’ pensions; Number' in force, 239; annual value, £12,108; paid in March, £1,105. ; Total pensions: Number in foi’ce, 51,785; annual value, £2,608,555; paid in March, £213,011.
