CORRESPONDENCE

(To the Editor.)

Sir. —In reading the correspondence re the School Committee election, there is one point that seems to be overlooked. What effect will the Avhole business have upon the children; We are supposed to set an example in morality to the young. Are those responsible for the business proud of their Avork? It is clear to me that the election of the Committee Avould not bo allowed if an appeal avus made to a court of luav. W'eli, Sir, this being so, there should be a public meeting of indignation, calling upon the Committee to resign, if for no other reason than to impress upon our children that everything in connection Avith our school is beyond suspicion.—l am, etc.,

FAIR PLAY.
