FOUNDERS OF GREAT EDUCATION SYSTEMS.
To the Editor. Sir, —The following are the names of the three great statesmen who founded, or improved, the national systems of educatioi in their respective countries: The Right Hon. W. E. Forster in England, Horace Mann in America, Sir Henry Parkcs in New South Males. Sir, as the secular system of national education appeal’s to he in the melting pot, the opinions of these great educators on the question of the use of the Bible in the common day schools may he of interest just now.
