THE DANDIES. On Tuesday evening, at the Town Hall, Mr Edward Branscombe’s ever-popular costume comedy company, The Dandies, wall appear, and no doubt the clever company will receive a, hearty welcome from en-tertainment-seekers wdio appreciate a good night’s amusement. On this tour of the Dominion this company has' met with very great success, and of their Ncav Plymouth season the press of that town says: “The second performance of that clever and talented and versatile company took place at the Empire Theatre last night, and some time before the entertainment commenced it was necessary to till every available space with extra seating accommodation. It Avas a bumper house, and demonstrated the popularity of the entertainers and the eagerness of the public to be entertained in just that blight and enjoyable manner for which the Dandies have deservedly obtained such a high reputation, and it is not too much to say that the present company is the best of its kind to tour the Dominion.” (Similar laudatory notices have appeared in the Dominion press, and the Dandies are certain of a hearty reception on Tuesday night. The company includes Miss Christine Andrews, a Scottish soprano; Miss Madoline Knight, the distinguished contralto; Miss Lenore Graham, a dashing soubrette; Miss Kitty Gelhor, in songs at the piano, 'and in musical accompaniments; Mr Kingsley Chapman, tenor and light comedian; Mr Eenn Millar, basso; and Mr George Livingstone, character comedian and dancer. Popular prices of admission are announced, and the box plan is noAv open at Mrs Teviotdale’s.
