REPATRIATION LOANS.

A BIG SUM APPROVED. An idea of the work done in the direction of repatriation is afforded by a statement of the total loans approved by the -Ministerial Repatriation Board for the Dominion to date. The muuber of loans authorised is 288 for advances amounting to £02,204 7s Id. At the last three meetings of the board 51 loans were approved, authorising advances to the amount of £12,594. It has to be remembered that the Ministerial Board considers, only £SO or over. Any application for a less amount is dealt with by (he district board or the local committee concerned.
