SCHOOL TENNIS.
On Saturday, a team of girls representing the Foxton School tennis club visited Rangiotu and played a match against that school, winning by six games to three. The scores are as follows; —
Singles. —11. Wilton (Rangiotu) 20, beat H. Skeljen 13; R. Pe.rreau (Foxton) 20, beat G. Gimblctt 19; G. Turner (Rangiotu) 20, heat I. Lacey 10; A. Daniell (Foxton) 20, beat E. Oliver 13; R. King (Foxton) 20, beat J. Simpson 12; D. Stall (Foxton) 20, beat G. Purdon 10. .
Doubles. —H. Wilton and G, Gimblet (Rangiotu) 20, beat: 11. Skcllen and R. Fcrremi 10; L Lacey and A. Daniell (Foxton) 20, boat G. Turner and E. Oliver 19; R. King and D. Staff (Foxton) 20, beat J. Simpson and G. Purdon 10. Total points: Poxton 108, Rangioln 1-19.
The visitors wore most hospitably entertained, ami a TCtiirn match is arranged for May 171 h.
