REVENUE RETURNS.

Wellington, May 1. The total postal and telegraph revenue for the quarter ended March 31sl, 1919, was £173,123, compared with £50(1,353 for the lirst quarter in 1918. The value of exports from the Dominion during (he first quarter of 1919 was £13,982,880, against* £10,192,585 for a corresponding period in 1918. The respective imports were £8,300,1.30 and £0.097,390. Savings bank deposits during the quarter ending March 31st, 1919, amounted to £5,805,478, an* withdrawals £4,829,473. .1 he excess of deposits over withdrawals was £1,030,005. The figures for the first quarter last year -wore £4,434,730, £3,349,322 and £1.085,408.
