SEQUEL TO MOTOR FATALITY. Levin, April 28. An inquest was hold to-day into (lie death of Richard Freehlling, who was killed while riding- a bicycle in the main street on Eastf# Monday night, by a collision with a motor car. Evidence was given that the deceased was on tno rigid, side, and the car (mine behind him and dragged him for a distance of 2-H'l. The car driver did not slacken his pace or pull up after the collision. The coroner found that deceased met his death through being run down by a car. .and, from (he police evidence, (he driver of the car appeared to be TTohopa Wiremu. The latter was subsequently arrested, charged Avith manslaughter, and remanded to May Ist.
