SUICIDE.
Christchurch, Yesterday. George Dale, aged 04, a carpenter, married, and living at Sydenham, hanged himself on Saturday by attaching a piece of thin rope to the back of a door in his house. He had suffered from great depression, and left a letter indicating that he intended to commit suicide. At the inquest (ho Coroner found that Dale committed suicide while in a stale of melancholia consequent on a nervous breakdown.
