PRISONERS ATTACK GUARD.
Melbourne, April 27. As an armed guard was conveying eight military prisoners to a, train for Sydney, the prisoners attacked the guards. A desperate struggle followed, and one of the men, Private Jemmctt, on refusing to desist, was shot dead by the guard.
