MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
MAYOR CHRYSTALL RETURNED UNOPPOSED.
SIXTEN NOMINATED FOR COUNCIL.
Nominations for Mayor, nine Councillors, and two members to represent (he Goxlon Borough on the Foxton Harbour Board closed at noon yesterday. The sitting Mayor (Mr John Chrystall) was returned unopposed. For (he two seats on the Foxlon Harbour Board there were only (wo nominations, Messrs I*. J. Hennessy (present chairman), and IV'. Bock (late secretary). Cor the Council (nine seats) there are sixteen nominated. All the old Council with the exception of Cr. Hurley are seeking rc-eleclion, and "Vlhroc ex-Couneillors are included in tho nominations. The following is a list of the candidates, with their nominators: — MAYOR.
