A full class of 30 is already enrolled, and everything points to a successful year’.-' work. Letters received by the local secretary from Professor Hunter, who is acting as general organiser, AL* D. K. Kennedy, secret:iry of the Wellington Centre W.F.A., and .Mr Robison, registrar Victoria University College and Secretary of the Tutorial Class Committee, all express appreciation of the success attained by the Foxton branch. Professor Hunter has promised to arrange for a supply of text books as soon as these have been decided, on by (he class, and he also is interesting himself in providing the beginning of a class library from books procurable in Xew Zealand. The Secretary wishes to acknow - ledge receipt of the following additional donations: —Air A. \V. Pearson £2 2s, Foxton Racing Club £1 is, N.Z. Shipping Coy (per S. F. Moorhouse) £l, Is, Foxton Branch X.Z. Labour Parly £1 Is, Foxton Chamber of Commerce £2 2s. Application has been made to the Alanawalu County Council for assistance, and it is probable that that body will vote a donation to the funds.
