\ Gisborne, April 8. This afternoon We Kaipuke, of Aluhaka, when near the entrance of (he. Park racecourse was accidentally knocked down hv a motor ear. He wa s removed to the hospital, where it was found (hat he had several ribs broken. His other injuries are not known.
