Westport, April 2. The Times’ correspondent telephoned from Millerton Ibis atternoon that the minors, hy a large majority, adhere lo (he former reso-> tut ion passed at Ihe stop-work meet ing, as the sell lenient is not considered satisfactory, and the mine remains idle. DISPUTE. AT MILLERTON SETTLED. West port, Yesterday. The result of the conference between Ihe miners’ representatives and the mine management at Westport yesterday was amicable, and the miners commence work at Alillerton to-morrow morning. The terms of the agreement haye not been made public.
