OBITUARY.
W. PROCTER—AGED SO YEARS
An old Foxton resident in the person of Mr W. Procter, passed away at his residence, Jenks Street, on Thursday, at the ripe age of 80 years. .Deceased had been an invalid during the past four years. The late Mr Procter was born in Engleton, Yorkshire, in 1830, married Miss Bond at the Lancaster Parish Church in .1800, and left for Xew Zealand the following year in the ship Samuel Curling. He settled in Foxton in 1875. In 1910 he celebrated his golden wedding. At one time deceased took an active interest in musical affairs, and was associated with the Band. Ho leaves a wife, and eight children (six sons and two daughters), together with tifty-three grandchildren, and thirty-five great-grandchildren, to mourn their loss. The funeral will take place tomorrow’, leaving deceased’s late residence, Jenks Street, for All Saints’ Church, at 1.30 o’clock.
