ves when ivc speak of hatred in this Avar, but we do a double wrong when we implant that thought in the mind of u child. “Father,'’ asked a boy the other day, looking up from a newspaper, “what is hale.'’’ What, indeed! Do we want that word in, the mind of our child; We are not, in this war for hatred of any people; we are in the turmoil for humanity's sake, and humanity means all tin* world. It excludes no people. Everyone can help to put this thought right- in the minds of our children. We do not want to plant something now in a child's mind that it will lake 1 generations to uproot. We are lighting a system in Avhieh we do not believe, hut not a people. And there is no place for hate. No war was ever won .by hate; no victory, Avorlh having, ever {Achieved. The future of the world's happiness lies in the hands of little children. Let us get the reason fur this Avar into (heir minds straight. We must leach our children a love of all men. Our duty to our children is to instil a belief in the Avurth and value of every human soul, and an encouragement of every soul towards freedom and, self-expression.
