THE Palmerston North Hospital Board is anxious to promote a, Volunteer Nursing - Reserve of women not less than 19 years of age, who would be willing to make them•selves acquainted with the elements of bedside nursing. The Board hereby invites applications from women all over the Hospital District who would be willing to give up a complete fortnight for training purposes, the proposal being that four pupils shall be taken into the hospital each fortnight and the system continued until a body of women is available upon which the District can rely for first aid in time of emergency.
