On the Palmerston green on Saturday a mutch for Hie Munson and Barr Cup was played between foxton (challengers) and Palmerston (holders), the result being an easy victory for the holders. The challenging rink was comprised of veterans, the four players being the, Eoxton Club's oldest men, their aggregate ago being 283 years, an
average of 7U;{ years per player. The Palmerston rink’s aggregate age was 23v years, an average of 59.1 years per man. The following are the teams and scores: Palmerston. Eoxton. Welch Spring Stevens Henderson Smith D. Whibley

In a match for the Dixon Cup on Hie Terrace End green on Saturday afternoon, (he holders defeated a challenging rink from W oodville by 20 poinfs to 18.
The Centre Champion of Champions rinks contest wilfbe played on the Palmerston green to-morrow. Eoxton will be represented by M. H. Walker, D. Christie, W, Nye, E. D. Whibley (s).
