The day was all too short for tho number of events it was proposed to have. Great excitement was caused by the tugs-of-war, especially by that in which the ladies contested, the chasing of the lollie men and the catching of the pigs. Tho “grown-ups” left nothing undone that would add to the enjoyment of the little ones. In fact, everyone seemed to be young for the occasion, and felt sorry when they saw the first lorry approaching to convey them home.
Before dispersing cheers were given for Mr and Mrs Smith, Mr Petersen, and for nil who helped to make the day a happy one,
Bather Forrestal and the committee desire to thank all those avlio gave donations in money and otherwise, and for prizes for the different events. They desire in an espeeial manner to thank Mr William (toss for the nse of his lorry.
