The Alanawatn Club lost both the Dixon and Munson and Barr Cups on Saturday, after holding them for one week only. The new holders of the Dixon Cup is a rink from Terrace End, skipped by Rankin, who defeated the holders, Radford's rink, by 27 points (o 17. The Manson and Barr Cup was Avon bj; Seifert’s Palmerston rink from Lee by the narrow margin of one point, tho scores being 2(1 —25.
To-morrow afternoon the Foxton boAvlers are paying a visit lo the Manawatn Club, three links making Ibe (rip. The ears will leave the green at 12 noon.
The Centre Champion of Champions singles competition Avill be played at Palmerston North 10-mor-Eoav. All the (dubs in the Centre, Avith the exception of Pahiatua, Avill be represented. The Shannon Club’s annual pairs tournament avus played yesterday. Foxton avus represented by one pair, Christie and Rimraer (s), and their record avus tAvo Avins and tAvo losses.
