FIGURES FOR ELEVEN MONTHS.

The Hon. A. M. Myers states that the revenue for the eleven months ended February shows an increase; of £550,75(1 over the corresponding period of last year. He said that this is highly satisfactory, considering (hat the payment of the income tax is later this year, and this has led to a decrease in the revenue, for the monlh of February of ,C(517,--115. For (he twelve months ended February the revenue decreased by £125,707, which will be converted into a considerable increase during the current monlh, when the total income tax is paid.
The expenditure oul of ordinary revenue shows a considerable increase, due to the interest and sinking funds on war loans, soldiers’ pensions, etc., also a considerable increase in departmental expenditure due to the payment of an increased war bonus.
The not increased expenditure for (he eleven months is £3,24(),0!1!i. The Public Works Fund shows .€325,7(53 in hand.
