PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

A meeting of managers of the local Presbyterian Church was held on Tuesday night, the Rev. J. IT. .Bredin presiding. Messrs Spoil’s and Henderson, district committee delegates, reported that it was decided to liquidate the manse debt, the method of raising funds for the purpose to be loft to the local committees. The Committee decided that Foxton’s quota should be raised by voluntary giving, members being opposed to any public effort for the purpose. Messrs Henderson and Hornbluw were appointed to wait on members of the congregation for contributions. Other routine business was transacted, and the meeting rose.
