There is one point, however, which we should like cleared up, and that is this: At Tuesday's public meeting the head teacher heatedly interjected that the Chairman of Committee had unfairly attacked him through the press, knowing that he could not bit back. The editor of this paper happens to be the Chairman of the School Committee. Now, recognising the handicap imposed upon the head teacher, in the way of publicity, we make this offer; That the head teacher submits (be nature of the alleged unfair treatment accorded him to the Chairman of Committee, the latter to take full responsibility for publication, and if such allegations are proved to be true, then the amende honorable will be made.
