INFLUENZA AFTER DANCE
In the rural district of Coleraine, in 'England, everybody who attended a dance, in Avhieh thirty couples look part, was stricken with influenza. According to the Coleraine Guardian’s clerk, several died. Thirly-soven persons Avere taken to the workhouse hospital in two days, and two nurses and one attendant became ill.
TREATMENT IN GERMANY. Captain Enos, of the Cheltonia, sunk off Marseilles by a submarine in June, 1917, has readied his home at Abcrystwtyth, after eighteen months’ imprisonment at Hal/.minden camp. Turning to (he guard, ho said, “If 1 give you orders to shoot, yon are to shoot lo kill.” “At this (lie British broke out into Jeers, and they were driven into the barracks at the point of the bayonet.’’
