MA NAWATU. CENTRE. A meeting of the Mnmiwatu Bowling Centre was held on Tuesday afternoon, Mr J. Ai Nash, M.P., presiding, and there were also present "Messrs F. Lanrenson (Manawalu), R. Vantier and F. Mowlem (Palmerston), Dr. Maud] and L. Freeman (Foxton), N. 11. Nash (Pahialua), and J. Simmons (secretary).

The question of the Easier Tonrnamenl was discussed at length, and il was decided to hold-same on Hit 18th, HHii and 21st April.

■ On (be mol ion of Mr N. A. Nash il was resolved that gold medals and should be* provided for the winning rink.

The entrance fee was lixed ai two guineas per team, and it was decided that caeh chib should appoint an umpire for its own green. Messrs .1. A. Nash, J. 11. Simmons, F. Lanrenson and N. If. Nash were appointed an executive committee lu make all Ihe necessary arrangements ami lo attend to the draw.
