LEVIN’S CHAUTAUQUA

The following is an ex timet from the Rockhampton Bulletin re the Chautauqua, which institution will visit Levin on Monday, March 3rd: —“lt was evident that Dr. Andrew Johnson’s lecture on the first night was enjoyed immensely, for he was given a very flattering reception when he came forward to deliver his second lecture entitled ‘The Science of Living among Men.’ It was as instructive as it was humorous. Dr. Johnson covered a wide ground in dealing with his subjects, his arguments were of an intellectual and sound point of view, being very much appreciated, He strikingly illustrated the value of building up a community.”
