GROUP 6 RIFLE MEETING.
LIST OF DOXATJOXS AXD TROPHIES.
The annual group rille meeting of Territorials, Senior Cadets, and Ride Clubs will take place at Wanganui on the 28th insl., and March Ist. The meeting is held to foster rille shooting, and the Government make concessions by wav of free railway passes to all competitors, as well as money prizes. Sub-area Sergeant-Major Hesp, m order to create enthusiasm in rille shooting, and to provide an enjoyable outing for Territorials and Cadets, has solicited cash donations and trophies for competition, . The following are the names of the competitors who will proceed to Wanganui, leaving Foxton by Thursday morning’s train: —Corp. W. G. Wright, Cadets A. C. Baker, W. G. McKnight, A. Keid, W. King, D. Barclay, J. Hartley, L. Harris, G. Scully, J. Hornblow, and Pte. V. P. Burr (Territorial).
The prizes are on exhibition in Mr Golder’s window.
