PUGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE,

The Department of Agriculture, Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram,dated 151 h February, from the High Commissioner for Now Zealand, London: —“Hemp,market qmet, and small business doing. Manila selling slowly, Government price. Refer to my telegram of 10th January (published 18th January). Government have decided to allow revised price apply to allotment made on or after Ist November. New Zealand, small business has been done, fair high point £55, £6O, but demand is limited. Sisal stocks in Mexico 380,000; East Africa, stocks large.”
