FOR REMEMBRANCE.

The desire to immortalise the battlefields where New Zealand soldiers have died, is very strong in almost every heart. At Trenlham Camp, tor example, there is a long line of stone-enclosed rosebuds, ami on each flower bed is a si one which carries the name of a bhttlelield. Ft is a beautiful thought, for whenever the roses bloom it is like a fresh blaze of glory for those who fell, another wreath of (lowers upon their far-off graves.
file organisers of the appeal for funds to build an Anglican Cathedral in 'Wellington have the same purpose in mind, and the Cathedral will embody all the natural hopes and griefs and memories of an ardent, earnest people. The west wing of this handsome, majestic building will ho a soldiers' memorial chapel.
