DUKE’S DAUGHTER’S ROMANCE.

The wedding of Lady Victoria. Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Portland, to Captain Michael Wemyss, Koval Horse Guards, a nephew of Sir Kosslyn Woniyss (First Lord of the Admiralty), recently took place at Welbeck Abbey chapel. Captain Wemyss has been wounded in the war, while Lady Victoria worked for some time in an aircraft factory in London, where her identity was hidden under the name of Miss Bcntinck. It was not until the King recognised her during a visit of inspection that her fellow-workers knew her to be (he Duke’s daughter. Six of these girls wore among the wedding guests.
