The State miners held a slopwork meeting this morning, and decided, by 158 votes to 18, not to resume work until a medical man was secured for the district.
Urgent telegrams, have been sent to the Ministers fur Mines and Health regarding the matter. A deputation leaves for Wellington tomorrow, !
