“THE SINN FEIN PARLIAMENT.”
A SECPET CABINET. London, -Jan. 22. The Sinn Fein Parliament was opened with much solemnity at Dublin. Twenty-three members of the (louse of Commons participated, and Parliamentary mjpges were closely followed. The proceedings opened with prayer, and a pledge was administered binding the members to make every effort to secure independence. The Irish language was used throughout, except in the pledge, which was translated into English. The Sinn Fein Parliament at a secret session elected a Cabinet, but withheld the najnos. New York, dan. 23. A Dublin message states that (ha military have seized Stenda’s College, founded by Palriek Pearse, who was executed in Itfiti. London, dan. 24. Three Sinn Coiners, ineluding McGrath, a Commoner, escaped from the internment camp in England.
