PRINCE JOHN’S DEATH.
conn' ix .Mocuxixc. Christchurch, Jan. 21. ihe Governor-General has received information that owing to Urn denth of Prince John the King Juts commanded representatives of the Sovereign throughout tlie Empire to refrain from attending public functions until after 26th January. It is also announced that the Court will go into mourning from 20th January to 19th February, and into half-mourning for a further period of fourteen days.
