ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

The sensational incident which occurred in Main Street, Palmerston NT., on Wednesday evening, when a woman threw herself in front of the Daunevirke train, in a desperate attempt to take her own life, had its sequel in the Magistrate's Court, Palmerston, on Thursday, when the young woman in question, who is a local resident, was charged with attempted suicide. Accused pleaded guilty to the offence. She was convicted and ordered by the Magistrate, Mr E. Page, to come up for sentence when called upon within the next twelve mouths. -
