NOMINATIONS for all events (including Maiden Hack) close Saturday, January 4th, 1919, at 8 p.m. WEIGHTS will he declared on or about January 9th. ACCEPTANCES close on Wednesday, January 15th, 1919, at 8 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All entries MUST be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Box 13, Foxton, Avith the name and age at the time of entry, name of oAvner, pedigree, and the registered colours of the owner. Entries by'’ telegram MUST he continued in Avriting by the NEXT MAIL. All Colours must be registered, or a line uLI sov. Avill be imposed for every start. All Races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of Ncav Zealand. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for the declaration of nominations, Aveights, or acceptances, as they may think lit. When nominating, the NAME and ADDRESS of the Trainer MUST he given; also the NAME or ASSUMED NAME of the Owner, Avith his ADDRESS. NO HORSE WILL BE WEIGHED OUT FOR ANY RACE WHOSE ENTRY EEES ARE UNPAID. PENALTIES. FLAT RACES. —The Avinuer of any Hat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of Kill)., and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b. (excepting that the winner of any Hack Race shall carry a penally of 71b., and of any additional Hack Race a further penally of 51b,, in any Open Race). Horses handicapped at Bst. 101 b. or over to carry half of the above penalties. The Avinncr of any Hurdle Race after the declaration of Aveights to carry a penalty of 10 lb. in the Hurdle Race, and of any additional Hurdle Race, a further penally of 71b., or, if the llandieapper deems it lit, he may, increase the penalties.
