PRIZE OFFERED FOR SEAPLANE FLIGHT. Auckland, Jan. 8. The nucleus of a fund as a prize for a flight by seaplane from Auckland to Wellington has been provided by the Hon. Arthur Myers, avlxo has offered to donate £IOO towards n pi’ize. his conditions, being that the flight must be made in a New Zea-land-built seaplane by a member of the New Zealand Flying School tit Kohimarama, and that the flight is to be made in one day, two stops being allowed on the way. His offer holds good for four months. The offer has been made with a view to stimulating interest in commercial aviation, and the building of suitable machines for long-distance living in New Zealand.
