ALLEGED INCENDIARISM.

FIRE BRIGADE MESSENGER* CHARGED. Invercargill, Yesterday. Recently several fires occurred in unoccupied bouses in circumstances suggesting incendiarism. On Saturday, William Lawrence, a youth employed as a messenger by the brigade, was arrested on a charge of setting fin* to a bouse in Don Street. The police staled that I lie accused admitted his guilt in connect ion with six fires. He was remanded to 9th January.
